The Salty Stitcher started with a simple project: I couldn't find the needlepoint designs I wanted to stitch, so I started creating my own. As it turns out, I wasn't the only one looking for something a little different.

What began as a personal creative project quickly grew into something bigger. During the pandemic, I took the leap and made The Salty Stitcher my full-time job, bringing the designs to life and diving headfirst into the needlepoint world through markets, trunk shows, and pop-ups.

These days, I've returned to my day job in the nonprofit world, but The Salty Stitcher is still very much part of the picture. I continue to dream up new designs and introduce them at wholesale markets each spring and fall, with plenty of coastal, Christmas, and a little bit of cheek along the way.
